July 2-4, 2016 Fourth of July Celebration Baileys Harbor
Baileys Harbor’s 165th Independence Day Celebration begins on Saturday, July 2 and continues on Sunday, July 3 and Monday, July 4. Enjoy the Arts & Crafts Fair at the Town Hall and at the NEW Visitor Center & Historical Society downtown from 9am-5pm with live music by Scott Wilcox from 11am-1pm Saturday and Sunday, and on Sunday from 2-4pm live music by Mississippi Sawyer.
On Monday, July 4, get to town early for the Baileys Harbor Fire Department’s Pancake Breakfast from 7:30am to 10am and the BH Women’s Club Strawberry Fest will be held in the Town Hall from 9am until the goodies are gone. The 4th of July Parade starts at 10am and runs from North to South starting at The Ridges Sanctuary building this year.
After the parade, spend the day wandering through the Arts & Crafts Fair and stop at the Food Court & Beer Stands for refreshments while you enjoy lots of live music at both locations (Town Hall lawn + Visitor Center lawn)! Papa Rick’s Chicks play from 11am-3pm at the Town Hall stage, and local band Small Forest and singer-songwriter Seth Raddatz play from 12-4pm at the Visitor Center stage! Hang out in town for the evening and try out one of Baileys Harbor’s fabulous restaurants like The Harbor Fish Market & Grille which offers gorgeous views of Lake Michigan and outdoor dog-friendly seating (with a doggie menu!). A fantastic Fireworks display begins at Dusk, so bring your blankets and chairs, grab some ice cream at Custard’s Last Stan, and enjoy the show!
July 3-4, 2016 Independence Day Celebration Egg Harbor
Egg Harbor Celebrates Independence Day Sunday and Monday with live music, a parade, and fireworks! On Sunday, July 3, enjoy food and refreshments from 4-10pm while you shop around town and at 5pm head for the park to listen to Modern Day Drifters perform. The band plays until 9:30pm on July 3rd then the Fireworks display begins!
On Monday, July 4, make sure to get a prime spot to watch the 4th of July Parade starting at 1:30pm from South to North starting at County Rd E. Right after the parade head to Harbor View Park to watch as the UW-Madison Marching Band performs 5th Quarter (sponsored in part by Main Street Market). Shop the day away at unique boutiques and galleries, open all day, and enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner at one of Egg Harbor’s excellent restaurants including the Café at Greens N Grains and Shipwrecked Brew Pub, right next to the park!

July 4, 2016 Sturgeon Bay Celebrates Independence Day
In Sturgeon Bay, the Independence Day Celebration is an evening event! Starting at 5pm in Sunset Park there will be live music and the volunteer grillers from the Pioneer Fire Department will be serving up brats, hotdogs, and hamburgers to support the Sturgeon Bay Fire Department and Gyros and Philly Cheesesteak will also be for sale! Bring the kids for an old-fashioned ice cream social sponsored by the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center at 6pm. Dirty Deuce & Friends play live on the Music Stage starting at 5pm and WIFEE & the HUZz BAND take the stage around 7pm and will lead the crowd in a soulful rendition of the National Anthem at the start of the Firework show at dusk.
July 2-3, 2016 Door County Renaissance Faire Returns!
Spend a fun-filled day at the Door County Renaissance Faire this weekend! 10am-6pm on Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sunday, you can step back in time and experience the atmosphere of market day with food and drink, arts and crafts, puppet shows, belly dancers, theater, a real live joust, magic shows, weapons demonstrations, storytelling, and more… This Faire is exciting, educational, and full of fun. - Patio King: The patio king rooms are on our walk-out level. To get to the walk-out level, there are stairs going down on the outside of the building. Every unit has a great view of the water. These units are nice for groups as they have easy access to our patio tables. Each 300 sq. ft. room has its own divided patio with two chairs and a small table. They are located on the same level as our swimming pool and indoor whirlpool.
- Premium King: These 400 sq. ft. rooms have a nice size private balcony overlooking the water. They are larger than the Patio King and Balcony Two Queen rooms. The bathrooms are a bit bigger and they also have a pull out sofa and wet bar. These units are located in their own building a short distance from the main building. A pretty terrace with a fountain separates the two buildings. There are five units on the street level with balconies and five units on the upper level with balconies. They are spacious and nicely decorated.
