He and wife, Diane McNeil (gallery manager) creates colorful, unique and one-of-a-kind functional stoneware at their studio. They celebrates the heritage art of pit-firing ceramic wares. Demonstrations twice a week in season, provide a chance for a close-up and personal glimpse into a working pottery studio “Pottery captures a potter’s life energy, his soul, which is then offered to the user to hold and use daily,” says Diane McNeil. “Color, shape, design and ultimate use all play a part in a potter’s decisions.” |
