July 27, 2017 Sail Through the Avenues Sidewalk Sale
This Thursday Sturgeon Bay’s annual Sail Through the Avenues Sidewalk Sale takes over the town from 9am to 5pm. Shop at your favorite spots for great sales and deals, and discover some new favorites! Third Avenue will be closed from Michigan St. to Jefferson St. as local shops, boutiques and retail outlets spill out onto the sidewalks inviting you in. Enjoy live entertainment from DJ Michael Raye, and stop in restaurants, pubs, and coffee shops like Root Bistro and 5th & Jefferson for delicious meals, snacks, and beverages to keep you sharp as you shop.
Don’t forget to check out the Benches by the Bay in front of local businesses throughout Sturgeon Bay. These incredible benches, painted and designed by local artists, will be auctioned off on Saturday, September 16 at the Harvest Festival to benefit the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center. Celebrate everything Carlsville has to offer in this annual festival taking place Saturday, July 29, 2017. July 23-29, 2017 Door County Plein Air Festival Events & Exhibition
Every summer Door County welcomes dozens of dedicated artists to paint outdoors surrounded by the beauty of our Peninsula in the Door County Plein Air Festival, presented by the Peninsula School of Art! Spectators may enjoy artist demonstrations throughout the festival and explore partner galleries where artists will be painting. Don’t miss Art & All That Jazz ($25 or Free for Palette Pass holders) Wednesday, July 26 from 7-9pm where you can enjoy champagne and hors d’oeuvres with live jazz and meet the artists! Don’t miss the Burning Cow Music Festival just north of Sturgeon Bay this weekend! Three days of live music from bands like Rebel Soul Revival, The Plott Hounds, Skinny Molly, Diemonds, Righteous Hillbillies, and more, plus, FREE Camping with your ticket purchase!
