Karsten and Ellen Topelmann own and operate the Hanseatic Art Gallery in Ephraim open every day from 2 - 5 pm, except Sundays. "In today’s freewheeling art scene I find great joy in painting recognizable subjects" says Topelmann, a native of Munich, Germany, who studied at the Royal Academy of Art. "I work in a variety of mediums depending on project and mood. I am blessed with my ability to create visual excitement and appeal in oil and watercolor, on canvas and paper."
