September 8-10, 2017: Ephraim Vintage Festival
The Third Annual Ephraim Vintage Festival brings the Concours d’Elégance to Door County and adds a little local flavor. Meaning a “competition of elegance,” the Concours d’Elégance dates back to the 17th Century French Aristocracy parading carriages, and eventually automobiles, through the parks of Paris on Summer weekends and holidays.
Ephraim’s Vintage Festival features both the Hagerty Hill Climb on Saturday and the Arbor Crowne Properties Concours d’Elegance on Sunday, which will highlight rare Pre-War European, American Classics, and significant post-war Sports Cars through 1968! Participants of the festival will also have the opportunity to experience a piece of the peninsula via the Hillside in of Door County Tour on Friday, followed by a welcoming parting next to the Hillside Inn property.
The Hagerty Hill Climb is for registered drivers and inspected vehicles, but you can watch the event from public viewing areas – you might want to get there early, some 4,000 spectators are expected this year! The Dinner Dance will also be held Saturday, starting at 6:30pm for all event marshals, judges, and participants under the Grand Tent adjacent to the Hillside Inn. Cocktail Attire is required, and 1946 apparel is encouraged – there will even be a 16 piece swing band!
