June 24, 2017 Paddlefest in Sister Bay
The natural beauty of Door County often brings that camera phone out to block your view, and while you capture pictures to last a lifetime, you might miss the memory of being here in the first place… so Sister Bay invites you to Unplug and Play – Out Doors! Take your pictures first, then put that phone away and get ready for Volleyball by the beach, a family-friendly Disc Golf tourney, Yoga on the Pier to restore your spirit, and of course Paddlefest! A chance for people of all experience levels to try out the latest kayaks and stand-up paddleboards at the beach. The experienced staff of Bay Shore Outfitters will be present to ensure your safety and enjoyment!
June 24, 2017 Open Door Pride Picnic
Door County’s first major Pride event, the Open Door Pride Picnic, will be held Saturday, June 24th at Martin Park in Sturgeon Bay from 11am-4pm. There will be activities for all ages, vendors and entertainment including belly dancing by Andria of Dancin’ on the Door. Live music for the day features an incredible line up including Loretta Morgan, Ruby James, Dorothy Scott, Tarl Knight, Cathy Grier Allstar Troublemakers, Small Forest, Lurk Hards, Clean Room, Michael Bleck, Zoe Muzak, Johnny Delorit, Sophie Sputnik, and Katie Dahl. Sound services provided by Wired For Sound Rentals. Bring your own picnic or snacks and beverages, or pick up something delicious to go from one of Sturgeon Bay’s great near-by restaurants and enjoy lunch on the lawn! This event is free, family-friendly, and welcomes everyone – the Open Door Pride organization’s mission is to affirm our community’s diversity through inclusion for all.

June 24, 2017 Door County Wine Fest
Like the Napa of the North, Door County’s orchard tradition branched out to include grape vineyards at some point, and so it is no surprise that we have eight unique wineries! These wineries will come together in Egg Harbor this Saturday for the Door County Wine Fest made possible by The Door County Wine Trail group and Egg Harbor Business Association.
The festival features unlimited tasting from Door County’s local wineries, as well as demonstrations, scrumptious food (including cheese of course!), and live music from the One 2 Many Band, and Robin Pluer & Friends!
Door County Trolley will be offering shuttle service 11:30am-6:30pm from the festival to Egg Harbor establishments including Egg Harbor Lodge, The Shallows, Birch Creek Music Center (for remote parking) and others. The Festival runs from 1-5pm. General Admission tickets are $45 at the gate or $40 online in advance, and includes: Unlimited tasting from 1-5pm (21+), Commemorative glass, Free trolley shuttle service, Entrance to demonstrations, access to the entertainment and food tents, and an incredible view of the Bay!
June 24 & 25, 2017 Ellison Bay Days
The Ellison Bay Community Park will be full of fun for everyone during Ellison Bay Days! Bring the family, there will be kids’ activities and art demonstrations, an arts and crafts fair, some delicious food and drink, and live music! Get a great seat for the Parade Saturday morning at 11am, followed by Mad Dog & Merrill and live music by The Bittorf Brothers from Noon-3pm and Zydeco band Copper Box from 4-7pm. Sunday brings the delightful Bestminster Dog Show at 11ma followed by lots more live music by The Cowboy Church Band and Julian Hagen! On Saturday there will be a shuttle service from Ellison Bay Days to the Uncork Summer grounds so you can enjoy both events!
June 24, 2017 Uncork Summer Festival
The Uncork Summer Festival will be held at the Wickman House property on Saturday from 10am-4pm. A foodie’s dream come true, there will be wine and beer, hard cider, and an amazing array of different dishes from some of Door County’s best restaurants including the Shoreline Restaurant, Harbor Fish Market, Door County Creamery, and Ellison Bay’s own Fireside Restaurant and Wickman House of course, as well as Thyme Catering, Waseda Farms, and many more!
The Bar and Beverage Tent will be serving tasty concoctions, wine and beer, thanks to Wickman House and Mink River Basin. June 24 & 25, 2017 – Door County Renaissance Faire
The Door County Renaissance Faire begins this weekend with jousting, juggling, and jubilation! Step back into the past and enjoy a day at the market complete with merchants and eateries, musicians, dancers, magicians, a royal court, and you might even see some faeries or a dragon! Admission is $10 with free entrance for children under 5 with a parent and Active or Retired Military with proper ID.
