June 18, 201 52nd Annual Fyr Bal Festival in Ephraim
An annual event, Ephraim’s Fyr Bal Festival “re-creates traditions of early Norwegians celebrating Midsummer’s Eve.” Enjoy food and art, live music, and the main event – the evening bonfire representing the burning of the Winter Witch and fireworks at dusk! Bring the kids and participate in the Firecracker Frenzy Ice Cream Eating Competition at 10am at Wilson’s Restaurant & Ice Cream Parlor – just $3 to enter with great Wilson’s prizes… This year a new addition to Fyr Bal is the Chieftain’s Cup Golf Tournament which will be held at Peninsula State Golf Course, and is open to men, women, and juniors. June 18, 2016: Door County Beer Festival
Growing each year, the Door County Beer Festival has become a Father’s Day weekend tradition for many! Held on the grounds of the Baileys Harbor Town Hall Park on June 18th, 2016, this is the 4th year of this great event offering samples of over 140 craft beers, locally sourced food for purchase, and live music by Mama Digdown’s Brass Band to keep you moving through the tents. The festival celebrates the craft of beer-brewing, and Kyle Cherek, the host of Wisconsin Foodie, hosts a special VIP Beer Brunch the morning of the festival for VIP attendees. General Admission and Designated Driver tickets are also available online or at the gate – but we recommend getting them in advance! (Must be 21+ to enter festival grounds.) The Homebrew Contest returns this year as well, offering you the chance to showcase your own beer-brewing talents; please visit online for more Festival information and Homebrew registration.
