The Holidays are nearly upon us, can you believe it?! Just a week before Thanksgiving, the spirit of the season is creeping in all over the county…. Sturgeon Bay gets us started this weekend, Nov. 20-22, 2015, with the annual Christmas by the Bay Celebration! On Friday evening, gather by the clock tower on Third Avenue and enjoy live music from 6-8pm, complimentary horse-drawn wagon rides, and at 7pm watch the lighting of the city’s Christmas Tree! Bundle up the kids and bring a hot drink to sip as you socialize…
The much-loved Holiday Parade starts at 10am on Saturday, Nov. 21st running from Sawyer Park, over the Oregon Street Bridge, down Third Avenue, and up Jefferson to Sixth Avenue. Door County Trolley and horse-drawn wagon rides will be available from 11am-3pm to get you around town. After the parade everyone is invited to meet Santa at the Door County Historical Museum where you can snag a complimentary hot cider and a snack, and head over to the Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center for a “Frozen” meet and greet with Elsa from 11am-2pm.
